As a kid I loved instant oatmeal packs. However, as an adult I’ve come to learn those packs were not a healthy breakfast option. Most packaged foods contain poorly sourced ingredients and harmful additives in contrast to wholesome, homemade products. Not to mention, they rarely make for a filling meal.
I’ve been making these healthier oatmeal packs for years now and find that with just 5-10 minutes of prep I can make enough to have on hand for a whole month. I typically pair oatmeal with a piece of fruit or simple smoothie and as a result my family receives a well balanced meal before starting a busy day!

How To Make and Store Oatmeal
It’s as simple as adding all the ingredients into a small plastic baggie and storing them in the pantry for future use. Pour the baggie contents into a bowl, cover with boiling water, stir + serve! My family eats this warm oatmeal about once per week all year long.
